HAWE Valve Bank / Directional Spool Valve Type CWS

The direct-acting valve bank type CWS by HAWE Hydraulik offers an extremely compact and lightweight solution for controlling the direction and speed of hydraulic consumers. Thanks to the flexible bankable design (modular system), up to 10 directional valve sections can be combined in a single control block. The system is primarily designed for demanding tasks in mobile hydraulics (e.g., municipal vehicles, construction machinery, material handling equipment), but can also be directly mounted to compact hydraulic power packs in stationary hydraulics to save space.

Technical Data:

• Maximum operating pressure: 315 bar (for steel versions) or 210 bar (for aluminum versions)
• Maximum flow rate: up to 80 l/min at the connection block (the switching flow rates of the individual valve sections are designed for 10, 20, 30, or 40 l/min depending on the version)
• Design: Valve bank in a bankable design with up to 10 sections
• Materials: Valves made of steel/cast iron (Zn-Ni coated) for maximum pressures or aluminum for weight-optimized applications

Structure and Versions of the Modular System:

• Connection blocks: Flexibly configurable, optionally equipped with an integrated pressure relief valve (standard or for increased return pressure up to 200 bar) as well as with various bypass valves (normally open or closed).
• Directional valve sections: Available as 4/3-, 4/2-, or 3/3-way spool valves. The sections can be supplied with integrated threads for direct piping or with a flange surface for mounting auxiliary blocks.
• Additional functions (flange blocks): The flange valve sections can be expanded as needed with important functions, including pilot-operated check valves, throttle check valves, shock and suction valves, or load holding valves.
• Actuation types: Control is standardly provided via electrical black-and-white actuation or electro-proportional. Both variants are available with manual override. Alternatively, purely manual actuation via hand lever is possible.
