Safe Operation for Your Sunfab Pump

Use only perfectly fitting connections to prevent cavitation (air ingress) and leaks. Our components solve the most common mounting problems:

1. Suction Fittings (Hose Fittings)

Space is often scarce on the truck frame. If the suction line interferes with the propshaft or chassis parts, our optimized geometries help:

Angle Variants: Choose between straight (0°), 45°, or 90° suction fittings to route the hose without kinks.
Diameters: Various nominal widths for optimal flow. A hose fitting that is too narrow "chokes" the pump – ensure sufficient sizing!
Scope of Delivery: Usually includes seals and mounting hardware for the Sunfab flange.

2. Bypass Valves (For Idle Operation)

A bypass valve is indispensable if the hydraulic pump is permanently driven by the engine (non-disengageable power take-off).

Function: When no hydraulic power is needed, the valve redirects the oil pressure-free into the return line.
Benefit: Prevents oil overheating during idle operation and protects the pump.

Bypass Valve SBP for SAP Pumps by Sunfab

The Sunfab Bypass Valve SBP is a relief valve specifically designed for SAP/SCP pumps, enabling the transition between idle and operation modes. It is ideal for vehicles where the PTO remains active during transport, such as road maintenance vehicles, concrete mixers, or garbage trucks. Controlled from the driver's cabin, the valve can direct oil to the vehicle's hydraulic equipment as needed. In its de-energized state, the pressure line remains open to the suction line, relieving the pump. A small amount of oil circulates to cool the pump. For valves with high bypass pressure, a separate cooling line is required.
