Technology: The "Pin-Type" System

The pumps offered here are based on proven "pin-type" technology. Here, the vanes are actively pressed against the cam ring by hydraulic pressure. This design offers decisive advantages:

High volumetric efficiency: Performance remains constant even after long operation, as wear on the vanes is automatically compensated.
Low bearing load: The rotor is hydraulically balanced, significantly extending bearing life.
Cold start behavior: The system enables reliable startup even at low temperatures and higher viscosity.

Maintenance & Cartridge Principle

A major advantage of this design is serviceability. The entire pumping mechanism (rotor, vanes, cam ring, pressure plates) is designed as a compact cartridge. In case of service, this unit can often be replaced without having to disconnect the pump housing from the suction line or drive. This drastically minimizes downtime in your production or fleet.

Compatibility

Although these are independent quality products from TDZ, the installation dimensions and flange patterns (according to SAE/ISO standards) are selected so that they are mechanically interchangeable 1:1 with common models such as the Denison T6 series or Vickers V/VQ series. This facilitates the modernization of existing systems without complex modifications to piping or drives.
